About Dr. Jennifer Lipton-O'Connor

Dr. Jennifer Lipton-O'Connor is a seasoned educator, school psychologist, and advocate with over 15 years of experience supporting students, families, and school systems. She is the founder of JLO Educational Solutions, LLC, where she brings her extensive background in special education, applied behavior analysis, social-emotional learning, and leadership to empower students and families and guide schools toward inclusive, equitable practices.

Dr. Lipton holds a PhD in Psychology from Harvard University, a Master's in Cognitive Science from MIT, and an undergraduate degree from Barnard College, Columbia University.  She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst at the doctoral level (BCBA-D) and holds licenses in Massachusetts as a School Psychologist and Licensed Applied Behavior Analyst (LABA). She has served as a Director of Learning Services, Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Coordinator, Team Chair, and School Psychologist.  Over her career, she has supervised multidisciplinary teams, launched district-wide initiatives, and led data-driven decision-making.

She is passionate about partnering with students and families to navigate the complexities of the education system and advocating for the rights and success of neurodiverse learners. A recognized leader in the field, Dr. Lipton-O'Connor also teaches at the university level and has earned fellowships and accolades from institutions like Harvard, MIT, and Columbia University.

Whether working with a family, a school team, or a district, Dr. Lipton-O'Connor brings compassion, expertise, and a commitment to empowering every student to thrive.  She welcomes the opportunity to work with families to ensure all students can achieve their highest potential.
